Over here in punny little Word World, I observed that
The First Noel [נואל] within a word of the Bible appears at the first light following the birth of Israel, the place of a sudden letter/spelling/name swap:
End of Genesis 32
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel [פניאל]: for I have seen God face to face, and my life [nefesh] is preserved.
31 And as he passed over Penuel [פנואל] the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.
32 Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.
"Noel" also appears in the name "Immanuel" [עמנואל].
In the Greek (Matthew 1:23), Immanuel is spelled Ἐμμανουήλ.
The "Noel" part is νουήλ, which = 558.
Back over in Hebrew, 558 = Jacob [יעקב, 182] + Esau [עשו, 376].
The tradition is that Jacob was wrestling with the sar (prince) of Esau.
Everyone will learn how to get along finally, ♫ Down on the Corner of Love [פינת האהבה, 558].

There's a strange midrash about Esau's head being buried in (rolling into) the Cave of Machpelah at the time of Jacob's funeral, which naturally suggests that both Jacob and Esau died at age 147. What's The Point?
Well, directly across from The Point at 147 Union Street, same zip code (2108),
what happened was that the Boston Stone (actually two stones in one) was rejoined as its natural pair, and then set as the head of the corner (April 13, 1836, when America was in her 60th year. It was 26 Nisan, the Traditional yahrzeit of Joshua son of Nun.). The twins were born in 2108 when Isaac was 60.
America's first known paint grinding mill: the round muller had been long lost in the basement, whereas the base stone had been used to keep carts from hitting the old building.
The muller (missing head) was found in the process of tearing down and constructing the new and still present building (1835-1836). When foundation work had been completed sometime between 1965 and 1975 (dated photos show the appearance changes), the muller had been reinstalled backwards, with the peg hole facing out.

Cheers! is set in Boston [בוסטון], aka "The Hub" [of the solar system]. Even has its own eponymous stone. The Pilgrims saw a vision of "New Jerusalem", which was named Jebus-town at first, so to speak. They might not have known they were making a pun.
Yeah, well whoever wrote the wiki page about the Jerusalem artichoke made sure to inform that it's not an artichoke and not related to Jerusalem, but hey that Italian word girasole ("sunflower") means to turn to (face) the sun, so pffft.
There's even a big sign hanging on the wall in Rachel Revere Square (across from Paul Revere's house) that says: Welcome to the North End, where Italians trace their roots.
There's also an ebus [אבוס], a manger. And manger-town is Beth Lechem, the house of bread. Famous! It's not authentic if it's not baked in a... Can!

And thus, so personally, began the tension between Jews and Gentiles.

Anyway,
How is "Cheers!" (i.e. the place where everybody knows your name, the place of the blessing, L'Chaim) the center of all the action? Besides the simple meaning of the concept,
"Cheer" is written as צ'יר because the letter tzaddi is used for the English ch-sound. Thus it is the same spelling as tzir, which is an axis, and more.
We can all thank the Frenchman René Descartes for his Cartesian... coordinate system, the place of the three Cheers [pl. tzirim צירים*] -- which is to say, the hub, the origin point, where x, y, and z meet up.
Wikipedia even has the diagram in Hebrew:

It's all a living parable, a mashal. Back at the place of the first Noel:

There's even a peculiar tradition that the name of the Messiah was "engraved on a precious stone on the altar of the heavenly Temple, as it is said, His name existed before the sun (Ps. 72:17)." (Tree of Souls, pg. 74).
On a personal note, what does this all tell me? It tells me the God of Abraham has a twinkle in His eye and a spring in His step, and that there's absolutely no competition. He always gets there first to plaster His signature sticky prints all over everything, even right on the face of the Sun (everyone knows not to stare).
I find this "obscure" information merely by wandering off the beaten path, and then looking up at the ghost sign.
EZ, but instead of a fantastic adventure (who's got the time), many prefer to buy the "cliff" notes.
